SENATOR ZELLNER SECURES HALF A MILLION DOLLARS FOR THE RICHARDSON OLMSTED CAMPUS
State funding will support the continued revitalization, preservation, and activation of Buffalo's iconic National Historic Landmark
(BUFFALO, N.Y.) – New York State Senator Jeremy Zellner today announced $500,000 in state funding for the Richardson Olmsted Campus, a major investment that will support the organization's operations and continued efforts to advance one of Buffalo's most transformative preservation projects.
Once vacant and deteriorating, the Richardson Olmsted Campus has become a nationally recognized example of successful historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Through a collaborative public-private effort, the National Historic Landmark has been restored as a destination for culture, education, tourism, and community engagement while continuing work to reactivate its remaining historic structures.
Senator Jeremy Zellner said, "The Richardson Olmsted Campus is a cornerstone of Buffalo's architectural and cultural heritage. Its success demonstrates what is possible when communities invest in preserving the places that define them. I was proud to secure this funding to support the Campus's ongoing work and help ensure this landmark continues to serve, inspire, and bring people together for generations to come."

These funds will help advance our mission to stabilize and reactivate the remaining buildings on the Campus and support community programming on the South Lawn."
The funding will support the Campus's ongoing operations and help advance its long-term vision of preserving, activating, and expanding public access to one of Buffalo's most treasured landmarks.
