The Main Block Party Returns to Downtown Buffalo
Presented by M&T Bank as part of its Meet Me Downtown initiative,
free community celebration builds on inaugural event that drew over 1,500 people
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Main Block Party returns to Fountain Plaza in Downtown Buffalo on Saturday, Aug. 29, for a free, family-friendly celebration of fashion, food, music, art and community.
Hosted by Buffalo Fashion Runway and presented by M&T Bank as part of its Meet Me Downtown initiative, the event builds on a successful inaugural year that drew more than 1,500 attendees. Organizers are expanding this year's experience with more vendors, entertainment, activations and community programming.
The event will feature more than 70 local businesses, artists, entrepreneurs and community organizations, along with food vendors, live performances and interactive experiences throughout the day, including:
Main Street Market featuring local vendors and community organizations
Main Street Eats showcasing some of Buffalo's favorite food vendors and sweet treats
Main Stage Entertainment with live music, DJs, performances and special guests
Fashion Activation highlighting Buffalo's creative style scene
Art Zone with interactive art experiences and hands-on activities
Family Fun Zone featuring a bounce house, popcorn, cotton candy, games and other free activities for kids
Custom Back-to-School Bookbag Giveaway in collaboration with Rise From Nothing
Admission is free and open to all ages. Individuals can RSVP here to receive event updates, reminders and exclusive event perks.

Media are encouraged to attend between 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. when vendor activity, performances and family programming will be at their peak.
