Buffalo Central Terminal Closes Out Successful Circle Thursdays with Funk & Soul Night

After welcoming thousands of visitors from across Western New York throughout the summer, the Buffalo Central Terminal will conclude its inaugural Circle Thursdays summer concert & block party series with Funk & Soul Night on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Circle.

Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, invite friends and family, enjoy great food, and dance the evening away beneath the historic Buffalo Central Terminal.
The free community celebration will feature an evening of live music, food vendors, local businesses, dancing, and family-friendly activities while highlighting some of Buffalo’s most talented musicians and performers.
Since launching earlier this summer, Circle Thursdays has become one of Buffalo’s most sought after community events. Circle Thursdays is Buffalo Central Terminal’s free summer concert and community block party series, bringing together live music, local vendors, food, and family-friendly programming, activating the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood through music, arts, and culture while drawing residents and visitors from throughout Western New York to one of the city’s most iconic historic landmarks.
The series has featured nationally recognized artists alongside local performers, transforming Memorial Circle into a vibrant destination where neighbors, families, artists, and visitors have gathered to celebrate Buffalo’s cultural diversity and community spirit.
The finale will celebrate an evening of funk, soul, jazz, and creative expression and also the successful completion of a summer series that has helped reintroduce Buffalo Central Terminal as a destination for arts, entertainment, and neighborhood activation.
