Councilwoman Zeneta B. Everhart, Rooted in Love Partner to Host First Farmer’s Market in Martin Luther King Park

Buffalo, N.Y. - Buffalo Common Council President Pro Tempore and Masten District Council Woman Zeneta B. Everhart is partnering with the local nonprofit organization Rooted in Love, Inc. to host the first weekly Farmer’s Market in Martin Luther King, Jr. Park beginning next Saturday, June 6, 2026. The Masten’s Rooted in the Park Farmer’s Market will run from 9AM to 1PM every Saturday from June 6 through September 26, except for the holidays of Juneteenth (June 13) and July 4 when it will not operate.

The market will feature local produce from Truly Rooted, local vendors, artisans, small businesses, and community programming, helping to improve access to fresh and quality food on the East Side.
